Celebrity hockey game scheduled to raise funds for the Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation

The Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation raised over $ 1 million which was used to help the hospital purchase emergency and medical equipment

This is to announce our next community event and fundraiser: Celebrity Hockey Game to benefit the Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation.

In this exciting game, the Guelph All-Stars firefighters will face a full roster of former NHL hockey heroes. This fantastic community event promises a lot of skill and a lot of laughs, and is guaranteed to be a fun and memorable game for all ages!

Where: Sleeman Center (50 Woolwich Street, Guelph)
When: Saturday January 15, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)

This (28th) annual game aims to raise funds for the Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation.

This fund is used to help hospitals in the region purchase medical and emergency equipment. The fund has grown by more than $ 1,000,000 since its inception in 1984. The money is used to purchase electric beds and emergency carts, as well as to contribute to the computed tomography (CAT scan), dialysis machine and the equipment of the chemotherapy unit.
