Chestermere’s Longest Ongoing Hockey Game –

It all started Thursday night. A 261-hour hockey game for the record books takes place today at the Chestermere Recreation Centre.

This event also serves as a fundraiser for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. Starting March 31, 40 hockey players will line up to play hockey until April 11.

During the game, Garry Shoults, the volunteer manager, explained how things were going on the second day.
