Raheel also spoke of the positive atmosphere within the group ahead of the biggest event in the hockey calendar, the FIH Odisha Men’s World Cup of Hockey in Bhubaneswar-Rourkela. He said: “Everyone in the group is looking forward to the next three months. It will be great preparation for the biggest event on the hockey calendar and the mood within the group is very optimistic, with every player wanting to give. I think each of us is pushing ourselves to do our best. Raheel believes that doing well in the FIH Hockey Pro League matches at home will give the team and players the right momentum and confidence heading into the FIH Odisha Hockey Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Men’s World Cup.
