Hockey player uses skate as weapon in Canadian fight

A gruesome incident has occurred at an adult hockey game in Canada.
On July 29, at a Safe Adult Hockey League game in Burnaby at the Scotia Barn, a standard brawl turned scary when a player used his skate as a weapon.
Midway through the fight, one of the fighters appeared to kick his opponent in the face. The apparent victim immediately descended onto the ice and began to grab his face.

The victim’s teammates chased the man who kicked, and eventually the referees called a halt to the fight.
Police told TMZ that the man who was kicked received treatment for his injuries and that the matter is being investigated.
« Burnaby RCMP [Royal Canadian Mounted Police] continues to investigate the circumstances and actions that led to the player’s injuries,” officials said.

“Burnaby RCMP are in possession of a video showing an angle of the incident, which has been taken into evidence. Investigators are still talking with players and witnesses. »
