Indian hockey player PR Sreejesh tweets for Indigo Airlines for charging extra money for his luggage

New Delhi: PR Sreejesh, the legendary goalkeeper of the Indian men’s hockey team, attacked IndiGo Airlines on Friday. He took to Twitter to criticize IndiGo for charging him extra money for his luggage and also shared a photo of the receipt on the social media platform.
“FIH lets me play with a 41″ hockey stick, but @IndiGo6E never lets me wear anything over 38”, Sreejesh tweeted. What to do? Pay extra 1,500 rupees for goalkeeper luggage handling,” he wrote. He also shared a photo of the IndiGo receipt for the extra baggage charges. Sreejeesh also used the “#loot” hashtag.

PR Sreejesh played an important role in the Tokyo Olympics: PR Sreejesh was part of the Indian team that won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. He played an important role in India’s victory as the Indian men’s hockey team, after a long hiatus of 41 years, won its first Olympic hockey medal since the Moscow Olympics in 1980.
So far, the Indian team has won 8 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals in the Olympics. It was also the first time since the 1972 Olympics that the hockey team reached the semifinals 49 years later.
