OSWEGO – Mayor Billy Barlow today announced that the Town of Oswego, through the Oswego Youth Office, will host a “Youth Night” with the State Laker Men’s Hockey Team of Oswego in the Friday October 29th hockey game against Hobart.
Through a partnership between SUNY Oswego and the City of Oswego, 135 free youth entrance tickets in Sections 51 and 53 have been made available to children living in the City of Oswego. Tickets are first come, first served and can be claimed by calling the Oswego City Youth Office (Jen Losurdo) at 315-349-3451 ext. 3451.
“We are thrilled to partner with SUNY Oswego and the Laker men’s hockey team to provide the kids with the opportunity to watch a hockey game and meet the team,” said Barlow. “I encourage the families of Oswego to take this great opportunity to have a fun night at the game to kick off the busy Halloween weekend.”
Families attending the game should plan to arrive at 6:30 p.m. for a draw for the names of the children who will drop the puck on the ice at the start of the game, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. sharp. The Laker hockey team will also be available for a meeting and a group photo. Masks are compulsory for all participants.
