The Carolina Hurricanes opened their 2022-23 season with a home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Canes have won division titles the past two seasons. A year ago, they set a franchise record for points (116) by winning the Metropolitan Division. They led the NHL in goals against per game and had the league’s best penalty kill. This year, they want to lift the Stanley Cup.
