Alex Haar propelled the Spartans with three goals and an assist and Pat Olenski added two goals and an assist to help Ocean cut off the Colonials.

Aiden Mumm had a goal and an assist, Pat Convery had two assists and Tony Macaluso made 17 saves.

Marlboro 5, Howell 2

Paul Golembiewski scored twice and Ethan Gelman had one goal and two assists to lead the Mustangs past the Rebels in a district rivalry game.

Andrew Kim and Jason Hasko each scored once and Daniel Goldstein had two assists.

Rumson-Fair Haven 3, Hunterdon Central 2

Senior forward Michael Kuras scored a power-play goal with 5:54 left to cap a furious rally that saw the Bulldogs score three third-period goals to defeat the Red Devils in a thriller.

Hunterdon Central led 2-0 after two periods thanks to a goal from Colin Watson in the first period and a goal from Thomas Klesat in the second period. Rumson’s comeback began 20 seconds into the start of the third period when junior forward Brett Pritchard scored unassisted to put the Bulldogs (8-0-2) on the board.

The tying goal came from junior forward Briaden Spagnuola’s bat on a pass from Spencer Lee with 8:15 to go. Ryan Croddick and Lee assisted on Kuras’ game-winning goal.
